Blessed

Although times are tough at the moment looking back on my life I have been blessed. I have been able to see, at least part of, this great country that I live in. America is a country of diversity. We have forests, deserts, mountains, rivers, snow, sand, rocks. I grew up watching the westerns of John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, Clint Eastwood and others. I remember watching stories of "range wars" over what was called "Open Range". Little did I know as a boy that "open range" was still a thing. In 2004 I was able to travel to the desert Southwest and what should I find but a sign declaring the land I was standing on "open range".
